Yogyakarta (April 6, 2022) - Tsaqifa Taqiyya, a 6th-semester student at the State Islamic University of Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta's Bachelor of Education for Islamic Elementary School Teachers Program, was a speaker at the Augmented Reality (AR) teaching materials training event organized by the Arabic Language Education State Islamic University of Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta. This event is Tsaqifa's first event in which she will fill a teaching material training event with other participants.
Augmented Reality, often known as AR, is a technology that mixes two-dimensional or three-dimensional virtual elements into a real environment and then projects them in real-time. AR technology, according to Tsaqifa, is simple to implement, primarily using mobile phone cameras or other media such as laptops or PCs. "Virtual objects in augmented reality can be produced using a mobile phone camera." A laptop or computer can also be used." Tsaqifa also disclosed that students seldom know about the creation of AR-based media, so the training positively impacts and gives students new experiences. She is also glad that her skills in creating AR-based material might be valuable to other people.
"Alhamdulillah, I'm happy. The knowledge I have provided may be valuable to all friends, particularly those learning about and developing AR-based media for the first time." Tsaqifa believes that this new experience will help her confidence and ability to speak in public and will be valuable as evaluation material as she continues to improve herself.
