Yogyakarta - Bachelor of Education for Islamic Elementary School Teachers Program Faculty of Tarbiyah and Education State Islamic University of Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta held a Stadium General with the theme "Implementation of Independent Learning, Independent Campus- Realizing Creativity and Innovation in Students". This activity was held virtually on Wednesday, February 16, 2022, using content from inspiring speakers, such as Dr Laifa Rahmawati, M.Pd. (State University of Yogyakarta), Tika Aprilia, M.Pd. (State University of Yogyakarta), and Agus Mutohar, PhD (State Islamic University Walisongo). All lecturers and students from the Bachelor of Education for Islamic Elementary School Teachers Program participated in this stadium general from the 2018-2021 class.
This stadium general caught the attention of all participants because the Merdeka Learning program, Merdeka Campus (MBKM), was highly awaited. Especially by students from the 2020 and 2021 batches were expected to receive critical information from resource persons regarding implementing the Merdeka Learning program, Merdeka Campus (MBKM). According to Dr Hj. Maemonah, M. Ag, the Head of the Bachelor of Education for Islamic Elementary School Teachers, "This stadium general is very beneficial, and it is hoped that students will be able to question the resource individuals for vital information regarding the Merdeka Learning implementation."
Merdeka Learning, Merdeka School (MBKM) is a highly essential program in which students can engage to strengthen their talents through institutions or departments outside of campus. According to Agus Mutohar, PhD, this program improves students' special skills gained on local and international campuses. Tika Aprilia, M.Pd also said that the Merdeka Learn program, Merdeka Campus (MBKM), provides a venue for students to explore their skills and passions to become creative and innovative personalities.
