Education for Islamic Elementary School Teacher Program ready for educational experience training abroad

PLP (Introduction to Educational Fields) is one of four credit courses offered by the Education for Islamic Elementary School Teacher Program at Sunan Kalijaga State Islamic University in Yogyakarta. This semester six course aims to improve student competency as future undergraduate educators in line with the State Islamic University of Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta's integration-interconnection paradigm.
The AUN-QA-certified Education for Islamic Elementary School Teacher Program seeks breakthroughs in the form of PLP. This is carried out in line with the Minister of Research, Technology, and Higher Education (Permenristekdikti) Number 55 of 2017 concerning Teacher Education Standards and the Regulation of the Minister of Religion (PMA) Number 15 of 2018 concerning Educational Personnel Education Institutions. PLP courses provide a platform for educational studies program students to understand and apply educators' and education personnel' professional and functional foundations.
PLP activities carried out at foreign schools will give students a new experience. Furthermore, the Education for Islamic Elementary School Teacher Program study program includes international pilot classes to ensure those language obstacles do not limit learning. As a result, the study program leader visited the Singapore Indonesia School to explore the prospect of PLP activities taking place at the school. A two-day tour to Singapore from September 13-14, 2022, is a positive start for students in the Education for Islamic Elementary School Teacher Program.
