Kalijaga Internasional Student Mobility Award (KISMA) goes to Social Institute of Malaysia

The International Office of the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training is organizing the Kalijaga International Student Mobility Award (KISMA) program, one of which is a field study at the Social Institute of Malaysia (ISM) on September 15, 2022. This visit was warmly received by the hosts, who said, "Welcome." Along the way, the KISMA participants entered the conference room, smiling and reaching out to welcome handshakes to transmit the warmth of that morning. When the participants entered the conference room, the host invited them to sit. The prepared was decorated with purple tote bags that greeted the arrival of the 2022 KISMA participants. The participants' enthusiasm heightened when the session in the morning began with the presenter performing a Malay poem.
In his first speech, the Deputy Dean III for Student Affairs at the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Education, State Islamic University Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta. He said that conveyed the intent and purpose of this visit, which is to create cooperation and collaboration, share knowledge, and improve literacy for students. The greeting was well welcomed, and executives from the Malaysian Social Institute, including Dr Faridah bint Awang, head of the Malaysian Institute of Social Affairs, answered personally. Not to add, both parties took part in exchanging Malay poems at the end of the speech.
The meeting's theme was delivered in Malay, namely the TED Talk Recent Youth Issues and Challenges Regarding the Anti-Social Disturbance Law (RUU AGS), by two students from the Social Institute of Malaysia and then continued with the presentation of scientific papers by spokespeople of Sunan Kalijaga State Islamic University students who discussed the Concept of Effective Learning to Support the Recovery of Teaching and Learning Activities. Continue to close each presentation with a poem from that morning's activity. ISM also prepared a coffee break for KISMA participants and musical accompaniment that played Indonesian hit songs to accompany KISMA participants throughout the coffee break.
The meeting concluded with giving souvenirs from the ISM and Sunan Kalijaga State Islamic University, as well as the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two parties for the previously established partnership. Hopefully, this relationship will continue to grow and develop to produce even more generations of exceptional students in both academic and non-academic sectors.
