ANDI PRATOWO, LECTURER AT PGMI WHO INSPIRES

Yogyakarta:Dr Andi Prastowo, M.Pd.I, a lecturer at Education for Islamic Elementary School Teacher Program (PGMI) at Sunan Kalijaga State Islamic University in Yogyakarta, has extensive educational experience. In addition to teaching, he is frequently invited to be a resource person in seminars and stadium general and to be a part of significant activity teams such as journal accreditation and book authoring teams. Dr Andi Prastowo, M.Pd.I, participated in a variety of activities in November, including Synchronizing the PGMI Curriculum at the PGMI State Islamic University Suska Riau (November 9 2020), Webinars on the Equality of MI Teachers with Elementary School Teachers, Opportunities and Challenges for MI Teachers in the Future Pandemic at IAI Al-Hikmah, Tuban, East Java (November 8 2020), and others. According to Dr Andi Prastowo, M.Pd.I, on November 23, 2020, the activity was entirely done online.
"The activities that I'm now involved in are all online, and there are some requests to participate in offline activities, like at the Walisongo State Islamic University, but if it's offline, I reject it since it's still pandemic."
In addition, to being a person in various activities, Dr Andi Prastowo, M.Pd.I, is the Editor in Chief of the Al-Bidayah Journal. He and his team are now working on publishing a journal article, Volume 12, Number 2 December 2020 edition, and preparing to submit a Scopus-indexed journal.
"Hopefully, the Al-Bidayah Journal will be indexed internationally at the beginning of the year, if not in 2022," Dr Andi Prastowo, M.Pd.I, expressed his hope.
Also this month, as secretary of the Scientific Work Assessment team, Dr Andi Prastowo, M.Pd.I, a lecturer at the State Islamic University of Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta, will attempt to promote to professor with other colleagues from the State Islamic University of Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta.
"Dr Phil Sahiron, Mrs Dr Fatimah from the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Islamic Thought, Mrs Sri Harini from the Faculty of Da'wah, and Mr Moh. Agus Najib will carry on trial."
Amazingly, Mr Dr Andi Prastowo, M.Pd.I, from PGMI, and Mrs Dra. Hj. Endang Difficultyowati, M.Pd.I, has been chosen as an assessor in the DIY provincial school/madrasah BAN-SM, from debriefing to implementing the 2020 IASP instrument accreditation. In addition, he is a member of the national survey team for the regional coordinator on tolerance and the university environment, which PPIM Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University hosts.
There are some exciting things we can learn from his life. When asked what events were memorable, Mr Dr Andi Prastowo, M.Pd.I, stated that all activities were remarkable. Still, the most impressive thing was when he was able to encourage and educate the surrounding community.
"All activities are beneficial. But the most impressive thing was when I became a teacher and inspired many others, particularly about the equality of PGMI and PGSD."
