| Description | This course equips students to master the concepts of science and understanding of social studies education and equips students to design and implement social studies learning methodologies to be applied in elementary schools. In this course, students study; Concept, nature and characteristics, development of social studies education, social skills, dimensions and structure, concepts in local, national and global contexts; instilling attitudes, values, morals and norms; actual social problems; approaches, models, strategy methods in active learning and can prepare plans for elementary social studies learning, develop elementary social studies curriculum, learning methods and learning media. |
