Yogyakarta (01/11/2022) Study Program Student Assembly (HMPS) of the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teachery (PGMI) held the annual program of the ibtidaiyah festival on Tuesday (01/11/2022) at the facilities hall uin kalijaga. The Olympics were followed by 64 participants from various elementary schools throughout central Java.

The performance of the Olympics has been in addition to the HMPS pgmi’s annual agenda as a means of developing a competitive spirit, improving academic performance, and improving education especially in the fields of mathematics and science.

In the Olympics there are two stages. The first round is a preliminary round of 35 multiple choice points and 15 math and science essays. From the results of the first act, 6 contingent of 12 participants with the highest score score will then move on to the second round. The group that got through to the second round was from muhammadiyah elementary school sapen 2 team 2, mi sunan team 2 view team 2, muhammadiyah elementary school sapen 1 team 2, min 2 sleman team 1, and maguwoharjo 1 team 1.

In this second act each contingent was asked to do a rotating action. In each motion there is a contingent. So a total of six practises that will be practiced by six contingent.

The practice consists of three kinds of science, a combination of fermentation works, a basic acid, using lactation paper, and a capillary activity. Additionally, there are three mathematical impositions in which a game of digits is performed with 1-6, it estimates the number of marbles ina jar, and it estimates the weight of an object. The given time to complete one lab is 15 minutes.

After the second act had ended it was time for the final score scores to be read, which was an accumulation of the two sets that had been executed. First place winner by muhammadiyah elementary school sapen 2 team 2 with the score 370. The second place goes by team 1 subheading for 338. 3 muhammadiyah elementary school champion sapen 1 team 2 with the score 337.

The competition in osm not only tests attitudes, knowledge, and skills but also strengthens children's mentality, fosters confidence, acceptance of defeat or victory, and sportsmanship.
