OPENING MEETING OF THE INDONESIA LECTURER ASSOCIATION OF EDUCATION FOR ISLAMIC ELEMENTARY SCHOOL TEACHER INDONESIA AND NASIONAL CONFERENCE

Yogyakarta (9/09/2022), The Indonesia Lecturer Association of Education for Islamic Elementary School Teacher Indonesia (PD-PGMI Indonesia) Meeting was held for three days at the Education for Islamic Elementary School Teacher Program State Islamic University of Sunan Kalijaga. The first day of the event was celebrated with much enthusiasm. From Sabang to Merauke, 127 Heads of Study Programs, Secretaries of Study Programs, and Lecturers of Education for Islamic Elementary School Teacher Programs attended the PD-PGMI Indonesia meeting. The participants' enthusiasm for the success of the PD-PGMI Indonesia event was evident.
The Education for Islamic Elementary School Teacher Program has institutionally provided movement, policies, and strategies. In the framework of preparing class teacher competencies to become academically expert and professional, as well as having teacher knowledge, the basic capital to become competent educators. As a result, a Lecturer Association is required to improve the Education for Islamic Elementary School Teacher Program program and competency. That is why PD-PGMI Indonesia is being implemented.
PD-PGMI aims to provide Education for Islamic Elementary School Teacher Programs as PTKIN/PTKIS/PTU is prepared to successfully implement the Freedom to Learn-Independent Campus (MBKM) in the curriculum of study programs at Islamic Religious Colleges. Learn about the Educational Independent Accreditation Institute (EIAI). In addition, participants will be able to prepare for FIBAA International accreditation.
The opening activity began with speeches by Mrs Fitri Yuliawati, S.Pd. Si., M.Pd.Si, Chair of the Indonesian PD-PGMI Committee, followed by Dr Fauzan, M.A., General Chairman of PD-PGMI. The main opening event took place in the evening—the Dean of Faculty of Tarbiya and Education, Prof. Dr. hj. Sri Sumarni, M.Pd., presented the keynote speech and the opening speech. Dr Abdur Rozaki, S.Ag., M.Sc., Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs, then spoke. The Dean of the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Education, as well as the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs at the state Islamic university Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta, warmly welcomed and thanked the participants from various locations who participated.
The Vice-Chancellor symbolically opened the event for Student Affairs. The participants were so enthusiastic about the PD-PGMI event. The dean of the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Education, Prof. Dr Hj. Sri Sumarni, M.Pd, and the chairman of PD-PGMI 2022, Dr Fauzan, MA, were also present. In addition, participants in the PD-PGMI program were introduced to the art of Gambyong dance through the Education for Islamic Elementary School Teacher Program at the state Islamic institution Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta. Not only that but the opening ceremony was made even more interesting by the fact that every PD-PGMI participant followed the trend, namely a fashion show in their local traditional dress. The participants proudly introduced traditional clothes from their regions. The committee will award door prizes to those who dress in the best traditional clothing. The opening night's major program concluded with singing together.

It is expected that with the implementation of the PD-PGMI, the draft MBKM curriculum will apply to PTKIN/PTKIS/PTU. The Education for Islamic Elementary School Teacher Program's readiness to reach the top predicate after National Lamdik accreditation and FIBAA International Accreditation. As well as the formation of the PD-PGMI and AD-PGMI Indonesia succession for 2022-2026.
