Yogyakarta (02/11/2022) traditional sports festival held by study program student association teacher’s education madrasah ibtidaiyah was followed by 95 students from various elementary schools all over DIY. The traditional sports festival is held on Wednesday (02/11/2022) in the gor don kalijaga. The traditional sports festival is also included in the ibtidaiyah festival set.

The head overseer of the traditional sports festival, andhika yahya son in his speech said the purpose of the festival is to preserve a traditional culture that is in the rare world today.

“The traditional sports festival is an effort to preserve traditional culture, to the extent that we preserve it, even though today is rare. We’re here to encourage the traditional games not to be lost in time.” She said at a traditional sports festival.

This traditional sports festival was followed by 95 students divided into 19 groups. In each group, 5 people will play 4 different kinds of traditional sports. As for the traditional sports branches carried out, the tray, the tray, the catapult, and the pork. On this occasion each group that won the match will get a plaque and a certificate. Then at the end of the game there will be a accumulated score to take on the general champion who will win the trophy of governor DIY and the coaching money.
