On June 28, 2022, at the conference room of State Islamic University of Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta, Faculty of Tarbiyah and Education. Bachelor of Education for Islamic Elementary School Teachers Programme is responsible for and organizes the reference management e-resources workshop. This session was held to help the students in the sixth semester of the Bachelor of Education for Islamic Elementary School Teachers Programme learn how to utilize a reference management tool before beginning work on a thesis proposal.

The Bachelor of Education for Islamic Elementary School Teachers program has a target for all students to finish on time and to be able to use Zotero to cite sources on their thesis. As a result, this workshop activity is supported by mentoring activities for all students who have participated in the reference management e-resources workshop.

This workshop had 60 students in participation, and the activities had an introduction to reference management software, Zotero discovery, practice, and connecting Zotero to Microsoft Word. This activity was accompanied by Muh. Syauqi Malik, M. Pd., Uswatun Chasanah, S. Pd., and Yoga Catur Prasetya, S. Pd.

It is expected that all Bachelor of Education for Islamic Elementary School Teachers students would be able to correctly utilize and develop the insights and experiences obtained. Mendeley and Zotero, in addition to theses, are used for referencing reference sources in scientific article writing. As a result, understanding reference management e-resources is important.
